P.L is an artist out of Ann Arbor, Michigan with plans on shedding light on his state, with the release of his upcoming project, WLVRNS (Wolverines).
A force within the independent music scene in Michigan, P.L. has performed on virtually every stage in the state. And no matter where he is, P.L. works hard to make his hometown proud.
He began rapping when he was only a kid. Basketball dreams were a priority growing up but while still in high school, P.L. was put on a national stage to show off his skills on the microphone. Already known as P.L. for his clever “Punchlines,” he spent five weeks as BET’s 106 and Park’s FreestyleFriday Champion.
He’s also worked with some big names including T-Pain, Jim Jones and the Grammy Award winning production team, The J.U.S.T.I.C.E League.
“Half Forgotten Dreams” is the first song released from WLVRNS, produced by Young Heat. It’s a soulful and sample driven record with heavy drums and hypnotizing strings. P.L. chronicles his musical influences and introduces the listener to his childhood dream, that hasn’t quite faded.
