Hands down and without a doubt one of the most iconic sneakers of all time is the adidas classic Shell Toe sneaker. In all it’s glory, it’s pretty fair to say that this year the sneaker has seen a fair share of redesigns. In 2015 we’ve seen new extensive colorways and limited editions, and with it’s newest collab it’s no different. However, this one might take the cake.

Dusseldorf’s Afew Store and German artist Ivan Beslic team up with adidas to deliver a one of a kind, never before seen design concept on the classic shell toe. Made from a premium leather the monochromatic silhouette features Beslics logo embossed on the tongue tag, which then leads to a perforated sock liner. The interesting part of the whole collaboration is that unlike ALL Shell Toe adidas, instead of the toe box being made from rubber, it’s made from wood! The special wooden feature serves as a contrast to the materials and color palette of the shoe while hinting towards the hand-worked effect seen throughout Beslic’s work. Pretty f*cking innovative.

The good thing about these, is that you no longer have to worry about your sneakers creasing anymore- ha!. The unique collection will be unveiled on July 31st.
