John Stockton was a PURE point guard. John didn’t have crazy ball-handling nor was he a flashy player. He was the prototypical point guard who relished in feeding the rock to his teammates and letting them eat. His altruism is constantly praised because he never cared about getting his own shots. He was more concerned with trying to find the open man. He and Malone were arguably the second-best duo behind Jordan and Pippen in the 90’s.
