One of the biggest highlights of the weekend came when Diddy continued his #AskDiddy panel for conference attendees. Scooter Braun kicked things off by continuing to answer essential questions from the audience while everyone awaited Puff’s arrive. The Revolt founder finally made it to the stage, taking questions from not only the lined up audience members, but also from all over the world via web cam and social media. Puff spoke on just about everything, including what an artist can do to make it big, which he stressed was all about creating a hit record. He was also pressed about his line from 10 years prior that said, “10 years from now, we gon’ still be on top,” and how it has come to fruition. That led to him sharing his plans for the next 10 years, which he went into detail about the hopeful development of Revolt, his label, and endorsements. He even granted one Q&A member’s wish by agreeing to meet with him for a drink to talk about their potential business ventures.

Later in the evening, Revolt held their gala dinner, which honored the legendary L.A. Reid with the “Started From The Bottom Award.” The honor was presented to him by Puff, who took the stage alongside Reid and Andre Harrell, with the three moguls sharing a reunion after years of being on their separate executive paths. Reid talked about how important RMC was to music, and the story of how he met and hired Sycamore at last year’s conference, leading to his work on Travi$ Scott’s newest album. Those in attendance of the gala dinner were also treated to a special performance from Robin Thicke, as well BJ The Chicago Kid. Overall, the Conference was a huge success, with many attendees making plans to return the following year.
