Only a few basketball flicks knew how to grab its viewers. Hoosiers, Glory, Love & Basketball, and He Got Game exemplified and captured the essence of basketball. Another movie that tends to go under the radar in today’s age is White Man Can’t Jump. Now, what made White Man Can’t Jump so seamlessly elegant to avid basketball fans was the fact that it took place on the black tops. In the 90’s, everybody pretty much acknowledged basketball as a black man’s sport. Yeah, you still had Larry Bird, but the streets knew who’s domain it really belonged to. Enter Billy Hoyte, a street hustler whose wits matched his uncanny abilities on the court. The friendship between Hoyte (Harrelson) and (Snipes) will always be remembered. See where the illustrious cast is now.
