There are a lot of rap groups that came and went over the years, but as far as on the New York tip, Byrdgang was definitely slept on in their prime. The group that was started by Jim Jones provided a lot of fire sounds for New York’s wave, and brought together some of the best of Harlem and the Bronx to form a super group.
