Born in 1963, Eric Lynn Wright aka Eazy E is recognized for being the originator of gangsta rap. Eazy wrote from his personal experience during his life in Compton. He stood firm on his position and that he wasn’t glorifying violence or gangsta life, but early telling a true of life growing up in the hood. Eazy joined N.W.A with his label Ruthless Records which, in turn, also signed the group, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
