Sadly we live in a society, regardless of skin color, that if convicted of a crime and do time, it’s hard to secure employment and start anew when you’re free. Check out how the Snowday food truck is trying to change that by hiring former Rikers Island inmates and giving them a second chance at restarting their lives and staying on the right track.
