Back in the aughts, the “Hot Boys” were the hottest rap group at a time. Based out of New Orleans, the group consisted of four members (Lil Wayne, B.G., Turk, and Juvenile) and were signed to Cash Money Records with distribution through Universal.

Their second studio album Guerrilla Warfare debuted #5 on the billboard 200 and #1 on the top R&B/Hip-Hop albums selling 142,000 copies in its first week of release. Hit tracks like “I Need A Hot Girl” and “We On Fire,” permeated the airwaves and the album would go on to sell certified platinum status by RIAA requirements.
