The debate of the female rapper has definitely been a major one in hip hop culture over the years, and started out when Lil Kim and Foxy Brown were going head-to-head with each other in the 1990’s. The debate became much more expanded when Lauryn Hill came heavy into the picture, and dropped one of the arguably greatest hip hop albums of all time, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Now, Remy Ma has spoken out, and she made quite a bold statement.

In a new video that was posted to her Instagram page, Remy can be heard sharing her belief that she is the best female rapper of all-time. She says that she thinks that “none of these rap chicks, past, present or future, can f*ck with me.” It’s definitely a risky statement, as many also have put Nicki Minaj into the same debate of today, who has been statistically the most successful of all the female MC’s.
