Lyrically, T.I. still has a lot left in his tank. His ability to hopscotch around from pop to hip hop isn’t an easy task, but he’s done it for years. Remember when he added an extra dose of trill to Robin Thicke’s record “Blurred Lines”? While, he can still rap his tail off, you have to wonder if people view him as T.I. the rapper, or T.I., the family man. There’s nothing wrong with either. The only problem is it’s hard to see past his pseudo Bill Cosby impression and remember he’s the man who rapped alongside Eminem, Jay Z, and more.

It’s hard to find yourself entranced by the idea of T.I. dropping a new album. I would be delighted to see Tip drop singles and perform every now and then. Transition into a host and entertainer a la LL Cool J. Get yourself a hosting gig for a reality show.

You proved to be a stellar host for VH1’s Big in 2015. Keep dropping singles, man. As for as an entire project, I think we’re good on that, brother. Just sit back and revel in your accomplishments like all the greats have. SHARE with your friends.
