The “Kardashian curse” is a topic that has been thrown around in pop culture foe a while now. It basically means any guy that’s dated one of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters is going to have their career go south after infiltrating and laying with one of Kris’ daughters. Rapper French Montana has something to say about this!
The results don’t exactly match up when you take a look at the myriad of rappers and athletes the family has dated. However, that doesn’t stop public perception when pushing a narrative.
Before NBA players Tristan Thompson and James Harden, Bronx rapper, French Montana, dated Khloe Kardashian from 2013 to 2014. Although it certainly upped the rappers profile, he was lucky enough to get out of there when he did.
French returned to the music scene with his “Alcatraz” single on Friday (May 20). It’s named after the Bay Area prison island, where he claims he and Kanye West broke the “Kardashian curse.”
“I feel like [Kanye] through the car crash/Feel like Ye ’cause me and Ye killed the curse from the Kardashians,” he raps. It should be exciting to see if Khloe of any f the sisters will respond. They do have a new show on HULU and have seemingly been inviting any and all press opportunities.
If French next album doesn’t do well, it’s safe to say he may have NOT broke the curse after all!
