All of the Iggy Azalea mayhem seems to have started in July. It was announced that the rapper made history on the Billboard Hot 100 chart having the longest-leading number one song for a female rapper with her song “Fancy.”

Shortly after, Nicki Minaj would go on stage at the 2014 Bet Awards and denounce rappers that don’t write their own rhymes. Fans immediately assumed she was referring to Iggy Azalea who was watching from the audience.
