Over the past week, tensions has continually mounted as the black community rallies in the town of Ferguson Missouri, where unarmed teen, Michael Brown was gunned down by a local police officer and left face-down in the streets for hours for all to see.
Certain rappers have since then been actively outspoken via social media displaying their anger and disappointment of the recent events.
Within days, droves of citizens descended upon the town to show support and to get answers from the police department who has since then named Darren Wilson as the officer responsible for the deadly shooting. During the protest efforts this past Wednesday night, protestors clashed with police prompting the Mayor to call in a “State of Emergency”
