As reported by NJ.com, on her way home, a woman (who remains nameless) was a victim of sneaker violence. As she headed home, at approximately 1:25 a.m. last Saturday — leaving Jersey City’s city’s light rail train at the Garfield Avenue Station — she was approached and jumped by three men and robbed of her Jordan’s, ID and $15.

The motive behind the assault remains unknown. Nonetheless, the men stole a pair of “grey and peach Air Jordan’s.” The exact sneakers have yet to be fully identified, but it’s said to be either a pair of Air Jordan IIIs or XIIs.

SMH — this is not only a sad story, but an unacceptable act of violence!
