According to Forbes, shoe magnate and hall of fame player, Michael Jordan is the only athlete in the elite billionaire club.
Estimates show that Jordan has crossed the threshold from super rich to ridiculously wealthy as his 89.5% stake in the Charlotte Hornets puts him over the billionaire mark.
Given the 2014 sale prices of the Milwaukee Bucks ($550 million) and Los Angeles Clippers ($2 billion), Forbes now estimates Jordan’s Hornets are worth between $600 million and $625 million.
