Famed Atlanta rap duo, Outkast may soon be the first rap group or musicians to be etched into stone. Yup, I repeat — etched into stone. Currently, there’s a petition floating around thats requesting 2,000 signatures to get the group etched into Stone Mountain, along side the three horseback heroes of the Confederate south.

With the confederate flag being taking down, maybe it is time to fight centuries-old symbols of hate with a little a bit of funk and show all that frequent and visit the Atlanta suburb how far we’ve come. Although, we can just sit back and wait to see if this really happens, the idea of this coming to life would be ground breaking.
