It has been a one hell of roller coaster for Louisiana rapper Boosie BadAzz. For one, he finally released his long awaited album Touchdown 2 Cause Hell back in May and it was well-received by musical pundits and the streets. While things have been well for Boosie on the music front, as of late, his health has been deteriorating.

On Monday (Dec. 6), Boosie posted a picture of his Instagram of him and his daughter asking for support regarding his surgery for kidney cancer. The 33-year-old rapper wrote the following: “To all my family , fans n supporters I really appreciate the love n concern that’s been giving to me since I was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Tommorrow I go n for surgery n I need prayers for a great surgery n rehabilitation at the MdAnderson cancer center GodGotme.” If you recall, Boosie found himself throwing up during a performance in New York earlier this year and also suffers from diabetes.
