Over the years, rappers have been releasing albums left and right, and have been putting out great projects for fans. While rap music has seen countless albums this year, there are still some major artists that haven’t given us any music, and may not for years. Fans have been begging certain rappers for an album for awhile, some being over a decade at this point.

This year, fans have been fortunate enough to receive a solid project from both Jadakiss and Dr. Dre, who are notoriously known for waiting on putting out studio albums. Dre has been a long time coming, almost shocking fans with the release, but Kiss has been keeping fans on their toes over the years. So the question is – why are rappers so hesitant to release music after years of making it?
