While Tracy Morgan and two others remain in critical condition Sunday, the truck driver has turned himself into police.
New Jersey State Police Sgt. Gregory Williams told CNN that Kevin Roper, 35, has posted $50,000 bail. Roper, a Wal-Mart truck driver, is charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto after the chain-reaction crash occurred when the tractor-trailer Roper was driving crashed into Morgan’s chauffeured limousine bus leaving fellow comedian James McNair dead.
Also in the limo were comedians Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton as well as Jeffrey Millea, Sgt. Williams said. One person was released from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey however their name has not been disclosed.
Roper is expected to appear in a New Jersey courtroom Monday, according to prosecutors.
