According to the Post, over 13,000 people were caught with 25 grams or less and were simply slapped with tickets. Even though the new law is a bit kinder to folks who enjoy an occasional puff, cops — especially in the Bronx — are dishing out tickets left and right.

It has been reported that over 415 tickets have been issued in the 45th Precinct in the Bronx, while 720 have been distributed in the 52nd Precinct. Moral of the story, you can smoke, but always be cautious because you can still do some time for smoking that grime.
