Diplomats was just a showcase project to share what Harlem cats had cooking. In addition, this mixtape was hip hop’s real introduction to Jim Jones and Juelz Santana. Regionally, there’s no doubt about it that Dipset embodied everything about NYC’s brash bravado. Culturally, the group may not get the respect from hip hop nationwide, but locally they are legends in their hometown.
