FROM THE SOLE: Non-Profit Organization Gives Sneakers To The Homeless

If only the world were filled with more people like these guys. Meet NYC’s Andre McDonnell from It’s From The Sole, a non-profit organization that gives shoes to the homeless all around the city that can often be cruel. McDonnell said the idea came from him giving his shoes to a homeless man after playing a basketball game:

I saw a homeless guy with no shoes on, so I left the ballgame, took off my shoes and offered him my sneakers and he took them with a smile. As I walked away, I felt the gravel under my own feet, and it just hit me there has to be something more that I can do

Like a real like Batman Andre works as he’s a sales associate and NYC high-end boutique Atrium and then after gives back.

We salute you good sir, Keep up the good work!
