Today we celebrate the release of EPMD’S fourth studio album Business Never Personal was released today twenty-eight years ago under Def Jam Records. This album is considered to be one the duo’s best recording project as it was given 4.5 mics out of 5 from Source magazine.

The lead single, “Crossover,” went after artist and labels that sold their soul (either for money or something else) and keeping it real and not crossing over to the mainstream. The record would go on to reach #1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles.
