Nearly a year removed from his deadly car accident, Tracy Morgan just did his first interview since the incident. The comedian, who did the sit-down while accompanied by his attorney Benedict P. Morell, was noticeably distraught throughout the emotional segment. He touched base on coping with the loss of his friend, fellow comic James “Jimmy Mac” McNair and revealed he has no recollection of the incident. Morgan also opened up on watching video footage from the deadly crash and still having to deal with health complications stemming from the traumatic accident. Watch the full interview above and check out some select quotes below.
“I can’t believe I’m here. I can’t believe I’m in front of you. I can’t believe I’m just here, and just seeing the tragedy that happened. It touches me.”
“There are times where I have my good day and my bad days, where I forget things. There are times where I get the headaches, and the nose bleeds. I won’t even let my lady know because I don’t want her to be worried about it.”
