Erica Banks Says She’s The 2022 Best Female Rapper
Erica Banks, 23, made a claim she’s ready to prove. The rapper, a native of Texas won two American Music Award nominations for Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist and Best Trending Song last year. She took to Twitter on Friday (February 25) to claim her proposed position in the rap music hierarchy for 2022.

Erica Banks released her new single on Thursday (February 24) and her claim as being the best female rapper for 2022 came shortly after the release of her new single. The title of the single is “Slim Waist” which is accompanied by a music video. LCRS directed the music video.
Banks made a similar claim last year. She took to Twitter claiming to be the best lyricist. She said, “I’m the best female lyricist. Check the flows & catalog luv.”
Banks signed a deal with Warner Records last year. In an interview conducted by Complex last year, Banks revealed why she agreed to sign the deal contract with Warner Records. She said, “I’m an energy person.” “I go off a vibe, so I just felt like that was the right thing for me. I’ve had plenty of offers. I could go all day just talking about that, but I felt like, at that moment, that was for me. I met the Warner team, and everybody seemed family oriented. I’m really big on family, so I felt like that was the right choice for
me.”
Erica Banks said her determination has been a key factor that keeps her to list amongst top rappers. She said she is not like anyone else in the industry and her uniqueness makes her stand out. “So, I would like people to know I’m a different breed. I’m a different kind of girl,” Erica Banks said.
