His favorite mixtape covers:
I would say, in no particular order, because every tape has their own significance depending on the generation it was released. I like Clue’s tapes, because his early covers really told his energy. I know his story, he felt like DJs used to front on him. So before you even heard the tape, the way he would talk trash back to DJs was on the covers. He would have a cover called, “You Can’t Impeach the President” and he would have another cover that looked like it was Sports Illustrated with all the little taglines. He would say stuff like: “Clue can’t be defeated, he’s the undisputed champ of the streets.” His covers would tell his stories with the issues he was having with other DJs. Which is cool, because before you even heard the mixtapes you could tell he defensive, but he could back it up because his tapes were really ill.
