Forbes just released their wealthiest hip-hop artists of 2015 list, and the top gun might surprise you. While the public might associate Dr. Dre as the hip-hop’s top earner, it turns out the Beats By Dre founder is second to Diddy. Diddy’s investments in companies such as Revolt, Ciroc, Deleon, Sean John, & Aquahydrate make him rap’s best businessman. Jay Z, 50 Cent, & Birdman round out the top five. Forbes claims that Jay-Z’s ownership in Tidal gives him a chance to climb up the ranks in years to come.
1. Diddy – $735 Million
2. Dr. Dre – $700 Million
3. Jay Z – $550 Million
4. 50 Cent – $155 Million
5. Birdman – $150 Million
