In July 2020, Megan Thee Stallion was a victim of an attack that left her shot in both feet. The incident occurred after a night out with Kylie Jenner, Tory Lanez and her close friend Kelsey. She initially told authorities her injuries came from cut glass, but then recanted and pointed the finger at Tory. However, he has denied any wrong doing, but is Tory Lanez telling the whole story?
Back in October or 2020, the L.A District Attorney’s office filed a felony assault case against Tory Lanez. Subsequently, the case went on pre-trial hearing on February 23 (Wednesday) but was postponed to April 5.
DJ Akademiks tweeted on Wednesday before the pre-trial hearing that “NO DNA” was found on the gun. However, Megan immediately replied that he was lying.
Making such a claim even before the court hearing began was too delicate to make. Hence, Akademiks deleted his tweet and posted a restructured tweet. In the new tweet, he wrote the hearing has been adjourned to April. Also, he revealed that Lanez’s lawyer informed the court that the DNA results have been completed which pleased his client, Lanez.
Megan accused Tory Lanez of masterminding the assault and being the hitman. However, Lanez has vehemently denied the accusation.
C’mon Akademiks
Akademiks said he saw the DNA document and the document declares inclusive in finding Lanez’s DNA on the magazine or gun. Akademiks wrote “Now one of y’all finna tell me my eyes deceived me. I ain’t Tasha K. Stop playin wit me.”
Is Tory Telling The Whole Story
On the other hand, Page Six Senior Reporter Eileen Reslen and Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon both rejected the claims of Akademiks. Dillon and Reslen insisted that the DNA evidence didn’t surface at all in the court. Reslen made more clarifications on Twitter. She wrote, “FAKE NEWS ALERT: Any reports of Tory Lanez’s DNA not being found on the weapon in the Megan Thee Stallion case are FALSE. Today’s pre-trial hearing was just postponed to April 5 and that fake news tweet was sent out before the hearing even started.”

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the felony assault case might not end in the favor of Lanez. Furthermore, the office made it known that the pieces of evidence presented by the prosecutors support the charges against Lanez.
