For months, Wu-Tang teased us about their one and only copy of their latest endeavor, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. After making claims that somebody had indeed purchased the album, Bloomberg finally found the lucky person.

Mad-man investor, Martin Shkreli, — who is notoriously known for raising the price of AIDS medication to $750 — was revealed as the man who purchased the secret double album. The shark unveiled his logic behind purchasing the album in an in-depth price with Bloomberg. Quite frankly, Shkreli wanted to hang out with celebrities and rappers, so he used his affluence and wealth to purchase the lone copy. In addition, he was able to hang out with RZA. “We didn’t have a ton in common. I can’t say I got to know him that well, but I obviously like him,” he said.

To make matters worse, Shkreli hasn’t even listened to the album. “I could be convinced to listen to it earlier if Taylor Swift wants to hear it or something like that,” said the snarky shark. “But for now, I think I’m going to kind of save it for a rainy day.” As for the money? RZA said in the piece that they elected to donate a huge chunk of it to charity and that they were unaware of Shkreli’s desire of raising the price for AIDS medication prior to his purchase. “We decided to give a significant portion of the proceeds to charity,” he said.
