Rick Ross took to his Instagram to shoot down any speculation that Wale was cut from the MMG lineup, showing a video of the rapper performing for a huge crowd to Ross’ “BMF.” He captioned the photo with the statement, “Never question THE EMPIRE #MMG.” While Wale is typically known for having a bit of a hot head on social media, he actually kept his response back to Meek Mill a bit on the humorous side. Since Meek told him to jump off of a roof, Wale tweeted, “Currently looking for a roof,” with a happy face emoji. He also disclaimed how Meek was not the only topic of conversation during his Breakfast Club interview, stating that he also discussed Adrian Marcel and Elijah Blake, as well as Tyrese and Tank.

Despite the tension between two of his MMG artists, Ross has been using the spotlight on his team to his advantage. The label head revealed that Self-Made 4, the MMG compilation project series, is coming very soon, showing a photo of the cover art on his Instagram page. There’s no word on the track list, or if Meek and Wale are on any tracks together, but the two were spotted in the studio together back in January. With any hope, they can make amends via Rozay once again, and come together for the sake of the new album.
