Lil wayne’s toronto signee Drake was shooting to super stardom. The artist was gaining worldwide attention and becoming well respected for his lyrical as well as singing skills.  Drake was solidifying his spot in hip hop’s exclusive elite class and it was all due to Lil Wayne seeing something in him that no one else saw.
