Rick Ross Finally Admits To Being Corrections Officer After Denial

While paying a visit to the Full Send podcast, rapper Rick Ross addressed something that had been lingering since the early days of his career. Someone dug up an old photograph of the rapper in a corrections officer uniform. Ultimately, many of the rappers rivals seen this as ammunition. What made matters worse at that point, was Ross denied that he was ever a corrections officer. At times he even denied the figure in the picture was indeed him. I still don’t understand why it was made out to be such a big deal; Im sure there was a time before rap where the man had to feed his family.

When asked what part of his life did he do this stint as a C.O., he answered, ā€œMaybe when I was 20. I didn’t really get to make it to the prison. Cuz you gotta go through training and all that and I didn’t last long. I may have lasted four months and they said I was a lil’ tardy.ā€ Not only was the rapper tardy, he also mentions not lasting on the job because it entailed a lot of physical activity. ā€œAnything you gotta really do and you’re fucking running and jogging and all of that,ā€ he continued. ā€œI missed a few days.ā€

He goes on the say the $500.00 he made every two weeks was a mere drop in the bucket compared to what he could’ve made hustling. Now he he sits at his huge estate in Georgia, I can almost guarantee he agrees he made the right decision by leaving that gig behind. I don’t think he would’ve accumulated a buffalo, goats along with his own firetruck had he stuck with that job.

Shoutout to Rick Ross.
