The Beastie Boys were the first Caucasian rap group to be widely accepted in hip hop. The collective originally started as a hardcore punk band, but eventually transitioned into a timeless rap group. Together, they would tour the world and sell millions of albums. They opened the door and created an open lane for future white rappers.
